Hey guys!
Summer is here!
This summer, I decided to go back to California to explore more places and find more restaurants!
I arrived to Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 30th, surprisingly tired, yet excited and I'd like to think that is when my summer officially kicked off!

During 2 hours of flight, I was mostly staring how beautiful the sky was, and I thought of God's masterpieces.

Since, I was staring at the sky, I was listening to #throwback songs, such as love somebody by maroon 5, clarity by zedd, and more while I was enjoying my way to California.

Today's blog will be short, because I hadn't done anything fun nor productive to post it on here.
Stay tune for more #caliadventure!

// Finals & Summer? \\

Hey guys!

Ahhh, sorry for being unproductive these days, it is very hard to manage time when I have finals. But, I promise I will write/blog whenever I have time.

I finally finished my 2 finals today and I have 1 more to go. The way I think about my summer, I am so thrilled to have adventures in summer and share it with you.

Since, my finals days were only half day, I went to some great places to eat and I thought I would share it with you and you should definitely try it out!

On Thursday..

After I finished my first exam, I went to an authentic greek food restaurant! It's called " My Greek Taverna" They serve excellent and delicious food and provide unforgettable day in here. With a friendly atmosphere and award winning food, you can totally enjoy your food here!

( The weather was amazing! )

Inside, it is very cool and refreshing:

So, a little fact, if you go grab your lunch here, it is cheaper than dinner menu, even though they serve the same food. However, when you go out for dinner,  it is more elegant with candles and cool lights.

For appetizer, I ordered a "Homous & Pita" - $5.45 which includes, fresh chickpeas, fresh garlic, lemon on the homous and fresh handmade pita.

After, I ordered a "Chicken Gyros With Greek Salad" $11.95  and my mom ordered a "Prawn Souvlaki with Greek Salad" $11.95
In fact, there are more different types of souvlaki, such as chicken and beef. Originally, they serve with Greek Salad, Rice, Roast Potatoes, Tzatziki and Pita bread. They also have different types of gyros, such as beef and they serve you with fries. However, I substituted fries for whole greek salad.
* Definitely Recommend This Place ! *

On Friday...

Today, I finished my second exam and I feel so happy how close I am done to finishing school! I went to "Chopped Leaf" today in Cloverdale. They serve chef designed healthy salads, wraps, soups, sandwiches and appetizers. All their dressing and their soups are chopped leaf recipes where it makes them more unique and tasty. They also serve with healthy and high quality of ingredients and nutrients!

I ordered a Greek Bowl which includes: Feta, Cucumbers, Grape Tomatoes, Red Onions, Romaine, Basmati Rice, drizzled with Tzatziki and greek dressing. $11 with chicken!

Hey guys!
Let's talk about the weather first. Today's weather was amazing! It was 30 degrees in Vancouver today and I absolutely loved it!
Anyways, let's cut right to the chase on what I did.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today, I discovered a new restaurant that is on the "Robson St." It's called "Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House" I especially wanted to go here today, because I wanted to try out to sit on rooftop, so that I could enjoy the sun and and also see the view of Robson St.
Let's just talk about the food first. I went with my mom and I ordered  "Joe's signature Benedict" which includes poached eggs with wild mushroom with prosciutto( my favourite!  ) and with hollandaise sauce. My mom ordered a "Seafood Caesar" which includes chilled marinated mussels and clams, grilled sockeye salmon, prawns, crisp romaine, focaccia croutons, and parmesan.

After we finished our meal, we discussed how the food tastes, and service etc as usual. At a scale of 1-10, I would rate here as 7/10 for food, because they added too much caesar dressings on the romaine, and the has brown or fries were too hard that I could not bite it. However, their services and our server was great and friendly. If you like seafood, I would recommend it.
Next Stop! I went to Jugo Juice for the first time! There were so many types of smoothies, juices, etc and I was standing for like 19393849 hours to choose  what I should get. ( not really ) Finally, I ordered a "mighty kale" which includes kale, spinach, apple juice, orange juice, pineapple, and mango! I was quite nervous to try it out, but as I  tried my first sip, it tasted amazing. it's like a sweet and sour juice.
* I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND MIGHTY KALE!*

Next, we decided to just shop around the Robson Street & the Pacific Centre mall. I wanted to share what I got today.

Hi everyone!
If you already know me, I used to do my "journal/blog" on VSCO.
Recently, some of my friends gave me some compliments about my journal/blog. So, I decided to make a real blog on my website!

* shout out to my friends who told me to make a blog ;) *

----------------------------------------------------------

Welcome and thank you for stopping by my new adventurous blog. Here, you will find my daily basis, my adventures, and even some personal thoughts on society and our nature. I think it is the time to introduce myself in case we never met!

My name is Naomi Moon. I am a full time student in Vancouver, BC.
( Little Info: Vancouver is known around the world as one of the best places to live and is a popular tourist attraction. Vancouver is also one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities in Canada.)
I am a definitely a connoisseur, gelato enthusiast and I love going on adventures with people I love. This is little cliche, but I am very shy around new people. But, once you get to know me, I will never shut up. (oops.)
My future career plan is being a successful doctor and help people who are in needs.
Also, I am also a typical "asian foodie" so I will probably post some cafès & brunch restaurants in Vancouver!

I guess that is little information of myself. I am looking forward to share my adventures with you!
